Pacific World/Asia-Pacific Studies, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey seeks applications for a full-time Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor position in Pacific World/Asia-Pacific Studies for the academic year starting September 2013. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a broad, interdisciplinary perspective on inter-regional and Pacific Rim themes, with emphasis on Chinese or East Asian history.
Ph.D. by time of appointment preferred. Successful candidate will teach courses in Pacific World/Asia-Pacific history as well as one course per semester in the College’s General Studies program. Teaching load is three four-hour courses per semester. Salary depends on qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of excellence in teaching.
