The Middle East Institute at Georgia State University invites applications for the anticipated position of Visiting Arabic Lecturer/Instructor to teach courses in Arabic. This is a full-time position and will begin August 2013. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or M.A. in Arabic language, literature or other appropriate discipline and native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated interest and expertise in second-language instruction and assessment, solid interpersonal skills, and a high level of teaching competence.
