The Integrated Studies Program at Penn invites applications for a full-time one-year lectureship for Academic Year 2013-2014, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, based on an annual review and approval of the Dean. The successful applicant will join a team in teaching an innovative freshman-year curriculum across the broad liberal arts. Lecturers from the humanities, sciences, and social sciences will be expected to collaborate on all aspects of the delivery of the course, and influence its design and direction. They will facilitate seminar sections, grade assignments, and be expected to contribute to the overall intellectual life of the program. The position is eligible for University benefits. Applications are encouraged by May 31, 2013, but will be accepted until the position is filled.
Eligibility is limited to applicants who will have received their Ph.D. within five years prior to the time they begin their fellowship at Penn (August 2008 or later). Application materials are to be submitted online at: facultysearches.provost.upenn.edu/applicants/Central?quickFind=51193
