The ideal candidate will specialize in the history of the United States during the 19th century but other U.S. fields may be considered as well. MGSC offers associate and baccalaureate degree programs in History. History faculty members normally teach a 4/4 load, including courses on multiple campuses. Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening sections of the U.S. history survey course and advanced courses in the candidate's area of specialization.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in history and a record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at this rank. Experience with online and hybrid course delivery is a plus. Candidate selected for employment will be subject to a background investigation.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
