Faculty working in the Department include a wide range of scholars from around the world specializing in Anthropology, Archaeology, History, Political Science, Political Economy, Sociology, Philosophy, and Literature.
The College, which also houses the Department of Natural Science and Public Health, is firmly grounded in the UAE’s determination to build a sustainable future while conserving its cultural heritage, protecting its natural environments and promoting the welfare of its citizens. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in key areas that promote the study of issues related to environmental, social, cultural and economic sustainability. CSSH students are uniquely equipped, through research and internship experience, to understand and to work at the intersections of the cultural, social, humanitarian, political and scientific disciplinary fields.
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences invites applications from scholars of East Asia for a full time faculty position.
