University of Alaska Anchorage - Term, U.S. History I & II and Western Civilization I & II
U.S. History I & II & Western Civilization I & II. The Department of History at the University of Alaska Anchorage invites applications for a one year term Instructor in U.S. History I & II & Western Civilization I & II. Appointment is full-time bi-partite for the 2013-2014 academic year, beginning August 11, 2013. The candidate will teach 3 sections of a combination of U.S. History & Western Civilization survey courses for the Chugiak Eagle River Campus and one undergraduate course for UAA Anchorage Campus each semester. Candidates must show strong commitment to teaching at the University level and must hold relevant teaching experience. Candidates with a MA in U.S. or European History required and ABD status preferred.
