The History Department at Temple University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track assistant professor (teaching/instructional). The appointment is for one year, beginning August 1, 2013, with possibility for renewal. The successful candidate will teach courses in Temple’s General Education program, which includes courses such as Global Slavery, Dissent in America, and War and Peace. The teaching load is four courses per semester. The Ph.D. must be in hand by the time of appointment.
