The Department of Religion and the Intellectual Heritage Program in Temple University’s College of Liberal Arts seek to jointly fill a one-year non-tenure track position to ensure instructional coverage of sections of “Race and Poverty in the Americas,” Religion in Philadelphia,” “Death and Dying,” “Mosaic: Humanities Seminar I (and/or II),” and possibly other more general introductory undergraduate courses in the 2013/2014 academic year. The teaching load would be four courses per semester. Preference will be given to candidates who hold doctoral degrees in History, Religious Studies, or related fields in the Humanities or Social Sciences.
