Applications are invited for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, for the 2013-2014 academic year, in multiethnic American Literature with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Native American, Latino/a, or Afro-Caribbean literature and culture. A five course teaching load, including two lower level intensive writing courses; introduction to literary theory and criticism; and one or two upper-level courses in the areas listed above. High priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence, publications, and completed Ph.D.
