The History Department at Colgate seeks a one-year visiting assistant professor in 19th- and/or 20th-century East Asian history, to begin Fall 2013. Completion of the PhD is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. The successful candidate will teach five (5) courses a year, including survey and upper division courses in modern East Asian history and courses in the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.
