The History Department at Colgate University seeks a visiting assistant professor for a one-year appointment in 20th century European history (including Russia, but excluding France) to begin Fall 2013. Completion of the PhD is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. The successful candidate will teach five (5) courses, including survey and upper-division courses in modern European history, as well as courses in the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.
