Early American History. Spring Hill College seeks qualified candidates for an assistant professorship in Early American History to begin August 2013. This is a full-time, tenure-track appointment with a 4x4 teaching load. Applicants must have PhD in American history. The ideal candidate will be able to teach the college’s offerings in Colonial America, Revolutionary America, early National U.S., and Introductory American History, and also be able to offer courses in at least one of the following fields: Latin American History, Asian History, or African History. Effective teaching, scholarship, advising, and service to the college are required.
