Assistant Professor of Practice in History: The History Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks candidates for an assistant professor of practice in History, to begin August 2013, to teach both classroom and online undergraduate courses and serve as the Department's Director of Online Teaching. This non-tenure track position is a three-year renewable appointment with a 3-3 teaching load. Field is open. Ph.D. in History and demonstrated experience teaching in the classroom and online at the undergraduate level required. Director's responsibilities include coordinating the department's online offerings and serving as liaison with the Office of Online & Distance Education.
