Modern British History. The Department of History at the University of Miami seeks a non-tenure-track visiting assistant professor with a specialization in modern British history, post 1815. We are looking for a historian, Ph.D. in hand at time of application, teaching experience preferred. The successful candidate should be able to offer the second half of the Western Civilization survey, 1648-Present as well as courses in modern British history.
