The Women’s Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee offers a BA and minor, graduate certificate, MA , MA/MLIS , and MA/MSW. The Program seeks an accomplished scholar for an assistant professor of Women’s Studies position to begin August 19, 2013. Applicants must have Ph.D. (by 5/31/13) in Women’s or Gender Studies; Cultural, Ethnic, or Media Studies; Sociology, Political Science, History, Anthropology, Geography or a related field, sufficient to teach feminist theory and feminist research methods at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Expertise in transnational feminism, narrative theory or Asian Studies desirable. Women’s Studies graduate certificate or advanced degree is a plus. Two courses per semester; service to program; research/scholarly agenda.
