The Georgetown University History Department seeks a one-year non-renewable Visiting Assistant Professor in United States History for the 2013-2014 academic year. The successful candidate will teach two undergraduate courses in the fall semester, including the Atlantic World survey and an upper-division seminar, and three courses in the spring, including a topical lecture class and two seminars. A Ph.D. by summer of 2013 is required.
