Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi seeks a Professional Assistant Professor of History in the Department of Humanities. This is a renewable, non-tenure track position in U.S. history or related field with competitive salary, benefits, and the potential for long-term employment and promotion. The teaching load will be five courses per academic semester, to include both halves of the U.S. survey and the possibility for upper-division courses in the candidate’s area of specialization.
A successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in History and a demonstrated ability to teach a full-time load. Preference will be given to candidates with suitable teaching experience, a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education, and an interest in teaching online or blended courses.
