Assistant Professor of Practice in History: The History Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks candidates for an assistant professor of practice in History, to begin August 2013, to teach undergraduate courses and serve as the Department's Chief Undergraduate Advisor. This non-tenure track position is a three-year renewable appointment with a 2-2 teaching load and advising. Field is open. Ph.D. required. Demonstrated experience teaching and advising at the undergraduate level required. We seek a teacher-mentor of exceptional skill, creativity, and energy to provide instruction in survey and required courses in the major and advise our growing undergraduate history major (currently over 250 majors).
