The Opportunity
The Centre for Studies in Religion and Theology in the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies is seeking to appoint an expert in the History of Religions to a three-year post, available from July 2013.
The position requires an ability to contribute to teaching in the History of Religions and the potential to contribute to other fields of historical enquiry, such as of medieval/early modern Europe.
To be successful, you will also be expected to
- undertake supervision of research students
- engage in original and innovative research
- apply for research grants including Australian Research Council early career award grants.
If you have the necessary expertise in the history of religions, with evidence of outstanding research potential, enthusiasm to independently undertake and publish research and to generate external funding for research, we welcome your application.
