The Chinese program in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Chinese Language, Literature and Culture. Ph.D. in Chinese language, literature, and culture is required. Research areas may include but are not limited to Chinese narrative, poetry, film, or theater. Native or near-native fluency in standard spoken and written Mandarin and English required. Experience teaching language and literature courses in Chinese at an American institution preferred.
