Arkansas State University (ASU) is recruiting applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in History (9 month, tenure-track). The Assistant Professor of History will teach courses for majors seeking Social Science licensure at the secondary level. Responsibilities include supervising the department's student teaching interns in the public schools, administering the Social Science Education program, and advising students. Candidates should have at least three years secondary teaching experience, the Ph.D. in History at time of appointment, and evidence of potential as a scholar and teacher. Research field open.
