The Department of History at East Tennessee State University seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor to work in Johnson City, TN, starting August 2013. Duties include preparing course materials, teaching courses, grading assignments, and performing research. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in history at the time of application with academic specializations in British, African, Caribbean and World History, and the social history of medicine. Applicants will be expected to teach survey courses and upper-division and graduate courses in subject specialties.
