This tenure-track position, which begins in fall 2013, will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Latin American History as well as introductory U.S. survey and world survey courses. Applicants should have an understanding and knowledge of multicultural and diversity issues. Previous college-level teaching experience preferred. Preferred non-primary teaching/research areas that do not duplicate those already in the department. Ph.D.in history required by time of appointment, specialization in Latin America required, any time period and/or focus. Applicants must be committed to high-quality teaching, high-quality scholarly endeavors, and service to the profession, university, and community.
