Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Early Modern International History
Applications are invited for a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Early Modern International History, commencing 1 September 2013. This is a career track post (equivalent to tenure-track) .
You will carry out teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as conducting research.
You should have a record of refereed academic publications in the field of early modern history; or strong signs that such a record is being developed. You should also have experience of and a proven ability to teach the history of the early modern period (1500-1800) at both undergraduate or postgraduate level; and a completed PhD In a relevant field.
The Department particularly welcomes applications from historians with expertise and interests in the history of the non-European world in the early modern period (1500-1800).
