The Department of History at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach an undergraduate survey course in U.S. Latino/Latina History for the Fall 2013 semester. Candidates should be able to teach a course on the major communities of Latin America origin in the United States, beginning with the colonial era, but stressing the twentieth and twenty-first century. Ph.D.in Latino History/Studies and strong teaching experience preferred; Send letter of application, c.v., three reference letters, and short description and syllabus of proposed course to Professor Christopher Schmidt-Nowara, Department of History, tufts University East Hall, upper Campus Road, Medford, MA 02155 (emailed application to email@example.com are acceptable).
