The Bucknell University Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Chinese history beginning the 2013-2014 academic year. Research and chronological fields are open. Ancillary competencies in the humanities, such as art history, film, philosophy, or visual studies, and in digital methodologies, are welcome. In addition to an active research program, service and teaching in East Asian studies, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the College Core Curriculum per department needs.
