The Department of History at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) seeks a tenure-track assistant or associate professor in Digital History/US History, to begin August 1, 2013. Period and area of specialty in US History open. We are looking for a historian with experience in applying digital theories and technologies to his/her research and teaching, who can enhance our nationally recognized MA Program in Public History. Teaching responsibilities include US History surveys and upper-level and graduate courses in fields of expertise. The IUPUI campus as well as Indiana University offer significant research support opportunities for digital scholarship within and across disciplines. Ph.D. by August 2013 is required.
