The History Department in the College of Liberal Arts at Armstrong Atlantic State University invites applications for a tenure track, Department Head position at associate or full professor level, beginning July 1,2013.
Responsibilities include the following: supervise and evaluate sixteen full-time and additional adjunct faculty. Schedule classes. Advise students. Oversee departmental assessment activities. Manage departmental budget. Participate in student recruitment activities. Reduced teaching load. The College of Liberal Arts encourages undergraduate research.
Ph.D. in History, specialty open. Previous experience with academic administration.
