Kenyon College seeks to fill a one-year visiting position in American Art History. The successful candidate will teach five courses during the school year beginning in August 2013: Two Surveys of Art, Part 2 (Renaissance to Modern); Two intermediate classes, one of which may cover any facet of Modern European Art (1750 to present); and an upper-level seminar in an area of expertise. Ability and interest in teaching African American, Latin American, or Chicano Art History would be most welcome. Ph.D. preferred, but willing to consider ABD. Commitment to scholarship and evidence of teaching excellence at the under graduate level are required.
