ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, BRITAIN AND EMPIRE
The History Department at Binghamton University, State University of New York, is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor in the history of Britain and its empire since 1650. The position will begin Fall 2013. The successful applicant will have received a Ph.D. by the time of appointment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly research, graduate education and undergraduate teaching. The Department of History has a large, well-ranked graduate program and Binghamton University, one of the four doctoral universities in SUNY, has recently entered a period of sustained growth and faculty hiring.
