Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college in Gambier, Ohio, seeks applications for a one-year, non-renewable position teaching Jewish Studies in the Religious Studies Department for the academic year 2013-14. Area of specialization within the field of Jewish Studies is open, but preference will be given to candidates whose area is Modern Judaism. Ability to teach one semester of the introductory course, Religion in Global Context, is expected. Subfield of Women’s and Gender Studies would be a welcome addition. Teaching load 3/2. Ph.D. in hand by June, 2013 required.
