The Department of History a The City College of New York seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of early American history for a three-year long appointment, subject to annual review. The department is particularly interested in candidates with teaching interests in the colonial, revolutionary, or early national periods. Applicants must possess a PhD in History or have the PhD in hand at the time of commencing the appointment. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and show evidence of scholarly promise. Salary range: $61,903 to $68,024.
