The Department of History and Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Women’s History at the rank of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to applicants with a specialization in U.S. Women’s History. The successful hire will maintain an active scholarly agenda, pursue innovative teaching, and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies. The candidate will design and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in her or his area of specialization.
Applicants who have completed a Ph.D. in History or a related field by August 31, 2013 are strongly preferred.
