The Department of History at Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in sub-Saharan African history at the rank of Assistant Professor. Research interests may be in any sub-field. Ph.D. required by time of appointment. The successful applicant will teach one part of the two-semester African history survey as well as a variety of topical undergraduate and graduate classes.
