The Department of History at Temple University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Chinese history. Applications from scholars working in any aspect of Chinese history from the Late Imperial Period to the present will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a broad undergraduate survey in Chinese history as well as develop upper-level undergraduate courses in her/his sub-field that may be cross-listed with the university's interdisciplinary Asian Studies Program. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the history graduate program.
