The Brandeis University Department of History seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor of nineteenth-century U.S. history. Area of specialization and subfield are open. The successful candidate must show exceptional scholarly promise and a serious commitment to teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Start date is July 1, 2013; PhD required by time of appointment.
