Modern Latin America, Assistant Professor, tenure-track. The history department at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a tenure-track assistant professor in modern (post-independence) Latin American history, starting August 2013. The person who is hired must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. in history by August 19, 2013. Teaching experience is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching and conduct independent research. This position is vital to the department’s innovative graduate program, which emphasizes global, transnational, and thematic preparation and connects students and faculty across individual fields.
