History of China and Asian Pacific Rim
The Department of History at the University of Missouri-St. Louis invitesapplications for a one- and-a-half-year appointment starting January 2013 in the History of China and Asian Pacific Rimat the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to teach four courses each semester including the full range of Chinese history courses and one or more course on the Pacific Rim. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with expertise in one of the following subfields: military history; business and economic history; or culture and migration. Evidence of strong teaching is required and the ability to teach online courses is especially welcomed. Applicants must have a PhD or ABD status in Chinese or Asian History.
