Assistant Professor, Sub-Saharan African History

The University of Louisville is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the history of Sub-Saharan Africa to begin Fall 2013. This will be a joint appointment with the Department of Pan-African Studies. This faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in his or her field, and in the Department's History of Civilizations program. Regional, thematic, and chronological specializations are open. Ph.D. preferred, but ABDs considered.
