The History Department at the University of Tennessee invites applications at the assistant level for a position in early Chinese History up to the Ming. The appointment will begin fall semester 2013. Ph.D. required at the time of appointment. Teaching duties include the first half of the World Civilization survey and upper-division and graduate seminars in area of expertise. The Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates who have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University.
