Asia or Latin America. Assistant professor (tenure track) in Asia after 1500 or Latin American history at the University of Southern Indiana. PhD or advanced ABD in history or closely related field required by start date of August 2013. 12-hour (4 course) teaching load per semester, with 2 – 3 preparations, including core curriculum history surveys, historical methods, required world civilizations sequence for history majors and courses in candidate’s specialty. Teaching experience, an active scholarly agenda and commitment to serving USI and the community required.
