Modern (Continental) European History. Assistant Professor. Ph.D. in European History required; completion by August 2013 preferred. Teaching experience and publications preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in German and French History and candidate’s other areas of expertise, as well as the world history survey course. Participation in graduate instruction in Masters level programs in Liberal Studies and Social Sciences possible. The History Department also currently provides support for teacher certification programs in history and social studies. Other upper and lower division courses in the applicant’s specialty welcome. Program of scholarly production expected.
