Morgan State University seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor specializing in the history of the African Diaspora, sub-specialty open. The applicant will be expected to take a leadership role in the department’s undergraduate and graduate African diaspora programs; to teach undergraduate survey courses in the history of the African diaspora and advise graduate students. Teaching experience at an urban university, potential for scholarship, and ability to advise graduate students are all desirable. A Ph.D in history is required.
