Assistant Professor – Latin American History
Applications are being accepted for a tenure-track appointment to begin in August 2012. Ph.D. in history is preferred; consideration will be given to ABD applicants sufficiently advanced in their thesis work. The successful candidate must be able to teach upper-level and graduate courses in Latin American history and in Mexico as well as both halves of the U.S. history survey. Ability to teach world history is a plus. The standard teaching load in the department is 12 hours per semester, nine of which are usually surveys.
