The Department of Art and Art History at the College of William and Mary invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in Medieval art and architecture (200-1400). Our geographical boundaries are open and we welcome candidates committed to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural investigation.
Teaching load is 2/2, and responsibilities include an introductory survey of art, intermediate and senior-level courses in area of specialty, and honors thesis supervision. The position will begin in August 2012. PhD expected by appointment start date.
