WORLD HISTORY, with a specialization in Russia/USSR. Must also teach the World History survey in the General Education Program. Ability to teach former Soviet states and thematic and/or comparative courses in World History desired. James Madison University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin late August 2012. Candidates must have the Ph.D., and should have teaching experience. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2011. Applications should be received by that date to assure consideration.
