North American West: The History Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks candidates for a tenure-track assistant professorship in North American West, to begin August 2012. Ph.D. by August 2012 and ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels required. We seek scholars working in any sub-field and any period, from early borderlands to the twentieth-century West. Scholars who can contribute to the History Department’s comparative and transnational focus are particularly encouraged to submit an application.
