The Cornell University Department of History seeks a historian ofthe Muslim World from North Africa to Central and South Asia, any period, including the Middle East, Ottoman/Turkey, and Safavid/Iran. The appointment will be full-time, tenure track at the assistant professor level, to begin July 2012. Applicants must be strong in both research and teaching and have the Ph.D. in hand by Fall 2012.
