History: South Asia. The History Department at the University of Oregon seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor, to begin September 2012. We seek innovative, rigorous scholars whose focus is on South Asia. The successful candidate will combine sophisticated, grounded research with an interest in teaching a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses in comparative and world history. Ph.D. at time of appointment required.
