Pitzer College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level beginning fall 2012 in Postcolonial and/or World Anglophone Literatures. Also desirable are secondary research and teaching interests in critical theory, theatre and performance studies, and theory and practice of literary translation. Candidate will teach 5 courses annually. A Ph.D. in English or equivalent by time of appointment is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have an ongoing research agenda and a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and teaching.
